Coverage Map API is Here

Integrate cellular coverage data into your app or project with our new API.

Hey friend,

On Monday, we launched our Enterprise Coverage Map Platform, featuring a suite of powerful APIs and tools designed for business and enterprise integration.

These APIs deliver unmatched access to nationwide cellular coverage data, enabling organizations to power their apps and services, make smarter decisions, and innovate their products.

Built for scale and reliability, these APIs can be integrated into your systems in under an hour.

Meet our three new products:

1. Coverage API

The Coverage API lets you integrate cellular signal strength data directly into your project or application.

It has data for all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Boost Mobile and UScellular, with regional carriers available upon request.

The API features:

  • Latitude and longitude or address based querying

  • Signal strength in dBm at a location

  • Average signal strength in 1/4, 1/2, and 1-mile radii around a location

  • Percentage of coverage in 1/4, 1/2, and 1-mile radii around a location

  • Data for 4G LTE and 5G

  • Single or batch querying

2. Coverage Tile API

Embed nationwide cellular signal strength tiles directly into your applications and mapping tools using our new Coverage Tile API.

You can retrieve Mapbox Vector Tiles (MVT) for any U.S. carrier and supported technology, including 4G LTE and 5G.

The tiles give you access to coverage footprints and signal strength quality, measured in dBm, for each of the carriers.

Overlay coverage in a outdoor hiking application so users know where they will have service. Add coverage data to real estate listings to show which provider is best at an address. Or add coverage overlays into your own back-end tools.

The API is fast to set up and easy to use.

Our custom-built data processing pipeline also ensures you get the most accurate and reliable coverage data possible.

3. Coverage Report

The Coverage Report allows you to upload a CSV file of addresses or coordinates and receive back an appended file with signal strength data, in dBm, at each location for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Boost Mobile, and UScellular.

Additionally, the report breaks down the average signal strength and the percentage of coverage in quarter, half, and one mile radii around each location.

The estimated distance (in miles) to the nearest cell tower is included as well.

This is perfect for:

  • Supercharging your sales team with coverage data at prospective customers’ addresses

  • Preventing customer returns by pre-provisioning your products to the best network in their area

  • Unlocking insights at how coverage compares at different locations

We built these tools to empower businesses to integrate cellular coverage data into their products, services, and applications.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a question or are curious to learn more.

Thanks,

Stetson
